Veterinarian-run · relocations handled in-house since 2017

Moving your pet out of Denmark

Most relocations that go wrong don’t fail on paperwork. They fail on sequence — one step taken in the wrong order restarts a clock that cannot be restarted, and the flight moves. Getting the order right is the work.

30 minutes by phone with our veterinarian · 608 DKK, credited in full against your relocation if you go ahead.

Straight answer

What this costs, and why the number isn’t on this page

The consultation is 608 DKK. That one we can publish, because it’s the same for everyone.

The relocation itself isn’t. Two cats going to the same country in the same month can differ by thousands — it depends on which vaccinations your pet already has, whether an existing blood test is still valid, whether the destination requires a government endorsement, and how much runway is left before you fly.

So we don’t print a number we’d have to take back. Our veterinarian reviews your pet’s actual records against the destination’s current rules, and then you get a fixed written quote. No guess-the-invoice anxiety.

What the consultation gives you

  • A dated plan, worked backwards from your travel date
  • What your pet has already completed — and what still counts
  • What’s missing, and what it will take
  • A fixed written quote, with nothing added later

30 minutes, by phone. 608 DKK — credited against your relocation.

From cases we’ve run

Four things that move a flight

These are here so you take the timeline seriously — not to alarm you. Working out which apply to your pet is what the consultation is for.

Routine care given at the wrong moment

Ordinary veterinary treatment, done in the wrong week of the sequence, can undo months of completed work and send the timeline back to the beginning. The order matters more than the tasks do.

A permit that isn’t valid on the day you fly

Official permissions carry their own validity windows. Applied for outside the right one, you arrive at the airport holding a document that has already expired — or one that hasn’t come through yet.

A document refused on a technicality

Paperwork gets rejected over small details of content and format that look inconsequential to anyone who hasn’t seen it happen. It’s usually discovered at the counter, on the day, with no time left to correct it.

An official appointment you can’t get

Government endorsement has to land inside a narrow window before departure, and the appointments aren’t always there when you need them. Leaving it late is how flights get missed.

Where we’ve sent pets

Destinations, and how early to start

Lead times are set by the destination’s own rules, not by us. Start at the earliest end — you can always wait, you can’t rewind.

Plan 8–12 months · a 180-day waiting period begins at the blood test

These countries require a rabies antibody test followed by a fixed 180-day wait before entry. The clock cannot be shortened, and the vaccinations that qualify the test come before it.

A recent case

A dog to Sydney, June 2026

Seven months of preparation, a long run of clinical appointments and laboratory work, a government endorsement day, and a last-minute document demand from the airline resolved the same day.

Outcome: flew on schedule, cleared the Australian quarantine facility with no extension, and was released on the first eligible date.

Why that matters

Quarantine extensions are the expensive failure. They happen when early paperwork is done correctly but documented incorrectly — and by the time anyone notices, your pet is already in the facility.

Details anonymised at the owner’s discretion.

How it works

Step 1

Consultation

30 minutes by phone with our veterinarian. We review your pet’s records against the destination’s rules and build your timeline.

Step 2

Fixed written quote

A dated plan and a firm price. Your 608 DKK is credited against it.

Step 3

We run the case

Vaccinations, testing, certificates and the government endorsement — coordinated and tracked to your flight date.

If you don’t know where to start

The Copenhagen leg, handled

Most people arrive with a different question to the one they expected. Not “which form is it” but “who actually does all of this, and in what order?”

We coordinate the Danish end of the move. Boarding in the weeks before you go and right through to the morning of the flight, collection on the day, the veterinary examination and export certification, and the liaison with your airline so nothing turns up unexpected at the cargo desk.

We work with an established partner at Copenhagen Airport who handles the airport side — collection, the cargo-terminal documentation, and the conversation with the airline on the day. That relationship is years old, and it is the reason the last 48 hours tend to be uneventful.

If you’d like, we’ll also help you find a reputable relocation agent at the destination. The arrival side has its own rules, and having a good local contact lined up before you fly is worth a great deal.

What we coordinate here

  • Boarding in the run-up, and until pick-up on travel day
  • Collection of your pet on the day
  • Veterinary examination and export certification
  • Government endorsement, booked and attended
  • Airport-side documentation and airline liaison
  • Introductions to vetted agents at the destination, on request

Booking the flight itself, and meeting the carrier’s own crate and acceptance rules, stay with you and the airline. Our job is to make sure the veterinary and documentation side is ready, correct and on time.
