Veterinarian

Responsibilities

  • Perform consultations, health checks, and vaccinations

  • Collaborate with our grooming and pet care teams

Requirements

  • Licensed veterinarian (Danish authorization or EU equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience with companion animals
  • Fluent in English; Danish is a plus

Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time)

Copenhagen, Denmark
Part-time (approx. 21 hours/week)
200 DKK/hour

Are you an Authorised Veterinary Nurse with strong anaesthesia and surgical nursing experience? The core of this role is independently managing anaesthesia monitoring, from patient preparation and induction through to recovery. You'll help keep surgical procedures safe, calm and well managed while working closely with the veterinary team. It suits a nurse who enjoys surgical nursing, values careful patient monitoring and is confident taking responsibility within their area of expertise.

Schedule

  • Tuesday and Wednesday: 09:00–15:00
  • Monday, Thursday and Friday: 10:00–13:00
  • Exact schedule to be agreed with the successful candidate

This is a weekday-only position, with no evenings, weekends or night shifts scheduled as standard.

Responsibilities

  • Independently monitoring anaesthesia, including induction and recovery
  • Preparing patients for surgery and providing surgical assistance
  • Supporting blood sample collection and other clinical procedures
  • Providing routine patient care, including nail clipping
  • Handling and supporting patients throughout their visit
  • Maintaining clinical hygiene standards and sterilising equipment
  • Supporting reception and administrative tasks when required
  • Assisting with stock checks and inventory management

Requirements

  • Authorised Veterinary Nurse
  • Proven experience of independently monitoring anaesthesia
  • Comfortable working independently during surgical procedures
  • Excellent patient handling skills and a calm, professional approach
  • Good standard of spoken and written English (Danish is an advantage but not essential)
  • Enjoys being part of a small, collaborative team

Pet Groomer (Part-Time)

Amager, Copenhagen
Part-time (10–15 hours/week)
Start date: End of September / early October 2026

We are looking for a talented Pet Groomer to join our team in Amager. Is that you? We groom both dogs and cats, so you will work across species every week. The pet groomer performs all grooming duties needed to keep pets neat, clean and looking their best. That covers bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping or shaving hair, and removing matted coat. You also keep grooming tools and equipment in good working condition. To do well in this role you follow pet owners' instructions and accommodate special requests. Above all, you treat every animal with care and patience.

Responsibilities

  • Dematting and detangling coat as required
  • Bathing, conditioning and drying pets
  • Trimming nails, brushing teeth and cleaning ears
  • Grooming and styling according to the owner's instructions or standard grooming styles
  • Professional hand-stripping for wire-haired breeds, to keep coat texture and colour
  • Grooming cats, including de-shedding, de-matting and full clips, with calm low-stress handling
  • Accommodating special requests from owners
  • Spotting health issues such as ear infections, skin conditions or tooth decay, and telling the owner
  • Keeping every pet safe throughout the grooming process
  • Routinely cleaning work areas
  • Recommending suitable products to owners

Requirements

  • Certification from a dog or cat grooming school, or equivalent proven hands-on experience
  • Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience
  • Experience grooming cats is a strong advantage. If you have only worked with dogs, we will support you in building cat handling skills
  • Sound understanding of animal behaviour
  • Able to stand for long periods
  • Treats all animals with compassion
  • Able to lift heavy pets and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Danish or English. Danish is an advantage, as many of our clients are Danish-speaking
