Part-Time Veterinarian

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site veterinarian role located in Copenhagen. The Part-Time Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pets both in the clinic and in the comfort of their owners’ homes. Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to: medical consultations, preventive care, laboratory testing, and limited emergency care. This position requires a minimum of 8 hours per week with a monthly salary covering these hours. Additional hours worked will be compensated separately. Home visits will be paid at a higher rate than clinic consultations. This role is ideal for new graduates, veterinarians seeking an additional job, veterinarians with already a part-time job or retired professionals looking to contribute their expertise.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Surgeon (VS) degree, or equivalent

  • Valid Danish Veterinary License

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with our team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with pet owners, colleagues, and support staff

  • Fluent in English

  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards

We are looking for a talented Pet Boarder & Pet Caretaker to join our pet care and veterinary services company as a Season Pet Boarder. Is that you? By joining MyPeterinarian, you will become part of a growing team whose aim is to transform the way we take care of pets, by making it stress and hassle-free for the pet and the pet parent alike.

This is a freelance position, and you will be contacted to help us look after pets when there is an increased demand for pet boarding. This is a flexible job where you will be able to have pets for a short period of time, get paid for it, and work with wonderful team members who are also very passionate about pets.

✅ Responsibilities: This job requires you to:

  • Take the dog(s) on walks according to the service category booked, regardless of weather conditions

  • Take care of the pets at your home

  • If required, transport pets to and from their homes in a safe manner

  • Clean cat litter boxes, as necessary

  • Collect pet waste and dispose of it

  • Provide fresh water and food to pets if requested by the owner

  • Take all essential procedures to guarantee the safety of the pets and others in their near area

  • Notify pet owners of any pet injuries or illnesses

  • Write a report for each pet owner to inform them how their walk went and provide at least one picture. If the service requires two visits, one report is to be sent at the end of the second visit. If the service lasts for more than one day, then one report should be sent daily

  • Manage schedules and prioritize duties depending on customer needs

  • Attract new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers

  • Be able to take pets into your home and care for them for any given period of time without issues

  • You are ready to sleep the night at the pet owner’s home for any given period of time

  • Must live in a house/apartment where pets are allowed

We are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers, and running email marketing campaigns or landing pages. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Marketing Specialist, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, and knowledge of SEO tactics to generate leads to product pages or the company website. You will also be responsible for creating certain forms of content like blog posts or infographics to aid the production of marketing campaign materials.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
